How to make... a yarn lover

One of our customers was admiring the collection of fiber-rific children's books on our coffee table at Cozy, and suggested that it might be fun for us to offer an accompanying bibliography of yarn-related kids' books. Challenge accepted!
Stories about yarn and crafting have always been favorites around our house, and here are some that might appeal to you and your budding knitters and crocheters:
Extra Yarn by Mac Barnett

Annabelle finds a magic box, containing an endless supply of rainbow yarn. She knits sweaters for her family, her friends, her neighbors, and even the buildings in her town. The greedy Archduke covets and eventually steals her magic box of yarn...will Annabelle ever knit again?
Knit Your Bit by Deborah Hopkinson

Mikey is disappointed and sad when his father enlists to fight in World War I, and he is too young to join, too. He wants to help his country somehow, and finds an unexpected way to do his bit: knitting for soldiers. A citywide knitting contest gives Mikey the opportunity to show off his skills and raise money for the war effort. (Warning: this one can be a tear-jerker for grownups!)
Love From Woolly by Nina Michaels

This lift-the-flap book for the littlest knitters is full of fun surprises. Who is Woolly knitting for? What does she make them?  (And, more importantly, does she make her own yarn?)
Farmer Brown Shears His Sheep by Teri Sloat

Farmer Brown does, in fact, shear his sheep in this story. His neighbors help him card, dye, and spin the wool, and then Farmer Brown himself knits it up. Don't worry--his sheep don't get cold that winter!

The Goat in the Rug by Charles Blood

Told from the perspective of Geraldine the goat, this is the tale of how her coat is sheared, spun, dyed, and then woven into a beautiful mohair rug by her owner. Geraldine loves to observe and help, though she can't resist eating the dye plants!
Knitty Kitty by David Elliott

This is such a cozy book, with cozy words and cozy pictures. It's perfect for reading snuggled up in front of a fireplace before bedtime. Knitty Kitty makes a hat, mittens, and a scarf for her three little kittens, in order to keep them warm on a snowy day.
Fiber artists everywhere would love to know, what are YOUR favorite yarn-related children's books?
