Fixing & Altering A Project--Saturdays, May 2 & 9, 2026; 3:00-6:00 pm
Every knitter has made a project that wasn’t quite right. Maybe the sleeves were too long, or the ribbing too tight. Maybe the edge rolled in a way that didn’t suit. The projects are left in our closets or languish in project bags, unloved and unworn.
This class encourages students to pull out those projects and bring them to class with questions and ideas. Each student will be supported in exploring the options for fixing or altering the problem project, support to learn and apply the needed skills, and empathy as we work through the challenges of changing a project to something that is useful and enjoyable. Dust off that old project and grab your curiosity & courage, and see what can be done to fix things up.
Instructor: Taylor Rutledge
Level/Skills Needed: Intermediate Knitter
Materials Needed: Bring your own projects and UFOs.
The class will be held on Saturdays, May 2 & 9, from 3-6 pm at Cozy, 285 E 5th Avenue in Eugene. Parking is behind the shop, on High Street.
