Sock School--Mondays, February 16 & 23, March 9, 16, & 30, 2026; 5:00-7:00 pm
Socks are an Everest for many knitters, and maybe 2026 is your year to learn some of the mysteries of sock knitting. Over five classes, we will discuss different construction methods, heel preferences, toe styles, and why to choose one over the other. Students will learn how to measure a foot and make a cardboard model, choose yarn, choose needles, and create a sock recipe for their own foot. In the first class, students will discuss with the instructor what is most important and those questions will inform the rest of the classes. Students should bring a sense of adventure and curiosity to class - making a sock in a deeply personal journey and no two sock knitters have the exact same sock making style. This class will give you the resources to make your own beautiful socks that are perfect for you.

Materials will be chosen in class; all supplies needed for the course will receive a 20% discount at Cozy.
This 5-session class will take place in February and March at Cozy, 285 E 5th Avenue, in Eugene. Parking is available behind the shop to the north, in the 3-hour lot on High Street.
