Learn how to knit a simple braided cable. Students will learn to read a cable chart, discuss the differences in cable knitting, practice knitting a braid, and learn about managing tension during cable knitting. Students should know how to cast on, knit, and purl.
Instructor: Taylor Rutledge
Materials needed: US 6 or 7 circular or straight knitting needles. Yarn will be provided. Any supplies need for this class will receive a 20% student discount.
The class will be held Friday, December 5, from 2-5 pm, at Cozy, 285 E 5th Avenue in Eugene. Parking is behind the shop, to the north, in the lot on High Street.
