There are so many ways to play with multiple colors in knitting. But should you choose stranded or duplicate stitch? What is intarsia? Ladder back what? In this class we will explore four ways to add multiple colors to your projects. We will learn stranded, ladderback jacquard, duplicate stitch, and intarsia. Students will practice all four techniques and discuss how to decide which method would be best when knitting a colorwork project.
Instructor: Taylor Rutledge
Skills Needed: Students should be familiar with knit and purl stitches.
Materials Needed: US 5 or 6 circular or straight needles. Yarn will be provided. Any supplies needed day of or after class will have a 20% student discount.
