Stranded Colorwork--Saturday, February 1, 2025; 10:30 am-1:30 pm
Stranded colorwork is a classic knitting technique that uses two colors to create any number of designs on knitted projects. Students will make a cup cozy with colorwork in the body of the cozy, learning how to read a colorwork chart, manage two yarns, explore the challenges of tension in stranded colorwork, and more.
Teacher: Taylor Rutledge
Materials Needed: A set of US 5 or 6 double-pointed needles, or a 32" circular needle for Magic Loop. Yarn and pattern will be provided. Any other supplies needed for class will receive a 20% discount at Cozy. Class fees include 1 paid help session on a Wednesday or Thursday at Cozy, after class is completed.
Skills Needed: Students should be comfortable knitting in the round, either on double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique.
