Knitting 101--Sundays, May 15 & 22, 11am-1pm
Learn to knit with instructor Cindy Bauer! Through the course of this two-session class, you will learn the basics of knitting: casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off. You will start off learning the basic stitches and the skills you need to make a pair of simple fingerless mitts. Your needles and other supplies will be provided with the class registration; you will have the opportunity to bring or purchase your own yarn.
Materials needed: 1 ball or skein of solid-colored worsted-weight yarn (about 100 yards); all supplies purchased at Cozy for or at class receive a 20% discount!
Cozy is located at 285 E 5th Ave; parking is available in the Market District lots or on the surrounding streets.
**Because this is a small, hands-on class in which people will be working close together, we are requiring that participants please be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and also wear a mask during both class sessions. Please bring your vaccination card to the first class or bring it in to the shop beforehand to show a staffer.**
