Continue with the Steek This Coffee Cozy pattern, and learn the secrets of steeking! Students will learn to secure knits in preparation for steeking (cutting your work vertically), and then how to pick up and knit a button band. You have the option to take just the Colorwork class, or to follow up with the Steeking class to finish your cup cozy.
Materials needed: 2-3 colors worsted-weight yarn (about 76 yards total), Size US 5 DPNs, Size F (or similar size) crochet hook, 3 1/2-inch buttons. Homework (if only taking part 2): Download the Steek This Coffee Cozy pattern, and knit cozy in the round.
